Body Language and Every Hand Tells a Story

Artist Mark Blaskey presents a powerful exploration of human form and gesture through body and hand castings. This exhibit features striking works such as Hand Over Folds, Consoling, and Blue Nude, capturing the silent language of human bodies and the emotions conveyed through touch. Adding a unique local dimension, the hand castings represent community leaders from the Chippewa Valley, including Tom Kell (former owner of Kell Container, now Great Northern Corporation), Jerry Jacobson of Northwestern Bank, Skip August and Jerry Brost (formerly with Cray Computer), and many others. Each piece tells a story of connection and the enduring impact of human presence.
