Barstow Beauty Bar is getting bigger, outgrowing its space on Barstow Street and prompting this booming business to move to a much larger location. That’s why this salon relocated from a quaint, 120-square-foot location on Barstow Street to a spacious 1,800-square-foot location on Mall Drive in August.

“I was extremely lucky to have my business grow as quickly as it did!” said Caroline Leonardson, owner and aesthetician. “I love being able to make a difference in someone’s day and create a peaceful escape for them. My favorite part is building someone’s confidence and allowing them the ability to love their skin and natural beauty.”

Since opening last November, Leonardson has been running the business singlehandedly. With the expansion, she now has the opportunity to hire additional help. The new location also offers better parking options, new services, and more space, including a private area for bridal parties to get ready, and space for indoor photoshoots, thanks to a collaboration with SMMG Photography.

“When the world was dark and lonely, I was able to be there for people by pampering them and helping them relax,” Leonardson said. “Not only am I a skin therapist, but I’m someone who builds a genuine and strong relationship with all my clients.”
