HE’S CHECKING IT TWICE: ‘The List’ Escape Room Now Open
Tactical Escape 101 and Chippewa Valley Museum partnering once again for fundraiser
Now until Jan. 1, Tactical Escape 101 and the Chippewa Valley Museum are partnering together to put on “The List” escape room in the 1871 Historic Schlegelmilch House (517 S. Farwell Ave., Eau Claire). They are fundraising money for the Chippewa Valley Museum and its operations as well as for the upkeep of the historic home.
The objective of the escape room is to get into Santa’s parlor and make sure everyone in their group is on Santa’s nice list in an hour or less.
Since 2016, Tactical Escape 101 and the Chippewa Valley Museum have been partnering together to create fun experiences in the Schlegelmilch house for the Halloween season. Last year, in addition to that, they added a holiday escape room.
“The partnership with Tactical Escape 101 is a really strong one,” said Carrie Ronnander, executive director of the Chippewa Valley Museum. “I respect the creativity that Jennifer Fonfara [owner of Tactical Escape 101 and designer of the rooms] puts into the escape rooms. They’re so original and so fun and it really does involve a team.”
Reservations are required. Tickets are $120 for two to four players and $30 for any additional players. Children must be accompanied by two adults minimum.
