“Dofleini” (2023) • Mixed Media on Canvas • From the artist: “Enteroctopus Dofleini is the name of the North Pacific giant octopus. These octopuses have displayed an astounding amount of intelligence including the ability to recognize humans whom they have frequent contact with. This piece hopes to achieve the same effect between the artist and the observer. I have always been drawn to the sea and aim to capture its beauty and mystery through my art. ‘Dofleini’ hopes to excite the palate of the mind and soul to remind the viewer that there is so much color in the world that goes unnoticed. My bright array of colors has become a signature as I continue to develop my style. Open for commissions or catch me at the local art shows.”
