Where faith and fashion collide – that’s where you’ll find The Pink Daisy. Kristy Tapp, owner and new Eau Claire resident, aims to create a place where shoppers can enjoy a wide array of goods.
Tapp and her family moved to Eau Claire a little over a year ago from Montana, and a few months in, she decided it was the perfect time for her to pursue her life-long dream of owning a business. The Pink Daisy officially opened its doors on May 6, and Tapp is excited to be able to share clothing, accessories, and more from brands she loves, while also bringing in goods from seven local vendors.
As a mom, Tapp has great insight into brands and products that are helpful for other mothers in the area. “I’m able to work when I can and I’m able to have him my little guy with me,” Tapp said. “I’m very thankful that he can come with Mom to work every day.” Tapp usually also brings her pup, Winnie, to the store with her as well – Winnie is the official store greeter.
While specializing in women’s clothing, The Pink Daisy also sells women’s accessories such as hats, locally-made jewelry, and hair essentials; paper goods including handmade greeting cards (made by Tapp herself), Christian journals, and adult coloring books; body care products like goat Huckleberry soap (sourced from Montana), goat lotion, and more; kids items like swim diapers and snack bags.
Tapp is passionate about supporting local and shopping small, so she’s hoping to bring in even more Wisconsin-based brands as The Pink Daisy continues to grow.
The Pink Daisy’s current hours are Wednesday-Friday, 10am-5pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm. Learn more on The Pink Daisy’s Facebook.
