Ned Gannon prefers curiosity, dogs (wild and domesticated), and "walking on air against your better judgment."
“Musky” (2015) • Acrylic • From the artist: “In 2014, I was approached by a local company to paint a series of images to be made into prints for the annual fishing opener. The first year was the Walleye and the second year I got to paint the Musky, which has a great history in this state. I might not have normally chose this kind of a subject, but I loved the challenge of researching the fish and having to envision an underwater scene. Designing compositions with light and color as a driving factor is a consistent area of interest for me in the various types of work I do.”
