Bearing a bright new sign and an entrance just behind Reboot Social, Eaum Yoga + Fitness is ready to make its mark. Since opening on Sept. 9, Eaum Yoga + Fitness (220 S. Barstow St., Suite No. 2), the business has been sharing a variety of strength training, relaxation techniques and more with the Eau Claire community. Co-owners Malia Markquart and Taylor Weiss, registered yoga teachers and certified trainers, are both qualified and excited to meet the fitness needs of all who come to Eaum Yoga + Fitness.

The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)-Approved performance facility hosts a generous variety of classes that range from beginner to experienced levels of difficulty. “We really wanted it to be (a place) where, whether it’s your first yoga class or your 900th yoga class, there is something for everybody in this space,” Weiss said. With two different studios inside, Eaum hosts classes like high intensity interval training (HIIT) strength, vinyasa yoga, cardio, and body sculpting.

The class selection is as impressive as the studios themselves, boasting Zebra Hot Yoga Flooring, radiant heating, and a climate-controlled environment. The certified group fitness and yoga instructors play to their strengths, combining two often-separate types of workouts into one building and one price.

Eaum Yoga + Fitness provides much more than their professional classes too, with one of their more popular amenities being childcare services. The space has room for 10 children. “The babies have to be (able to sit) in order to come," Markquart said. “It’s the safest choice.” Being parents themselves, the co-owners understood that childcare was not just an option but a necessity for their new business.

Offered during daytime classes, the childcare room is staffed full-time and contains age-appropriate toys. With the option of purchasing the childcare pass alongside the standard Eaum workout pass, this unique feature is here to stay.

Eager to bring more than just a workout space to downtown Eau Claire, additional features of the facility include full locker rooms with complimentary Aveda products and a dry bar for hair care. Eaum also features a boutique inside their spacious lobby, including Lululemon apparel, the first official Lululemon space in the area. “There has been high quality yoga in Eau Claire but we wanted to have a facility where there was space for community,” Markquart said.

Offering student and military discounts, as well as a current introductory offer of three weeks for $30, Eaum Yoga + Fitness is ready to meet new members with a stunning variety of convenient services and heart-pumping fitness classes.
