A decade of Blue Ox is being celebrated with a milestone-worthy lineup this summer, with this year’s festival running from June 27-29 at the beautiful Pines Music Park, where folks can revel in three days of bluegrass and Americana-style music across three stages, on 155 acres of feel-good summertime energy.
About 30 bands and artists will be performing in the pines, including local favorites Them Coulee Boys and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, plus not one, but two nights of Pert Near Sandstone, the band that serves as host of this year’s festival. Other genre-weaving heavy hitters on the lineup include Band of Horses, Sierra Ferrell, the Sam Bush Band, Del McCoury, Grammy Award-winner Molly Tuttle and her band Golden Highway, Watchhouse (formerly Mandolin Orange), and many, many more.
An additional main stage artist is still TBA, as is the Backwoods Stage lineup, which should be announced in the coming weeks.
Three-day and two-day tickets (Friday and Saturday) are now up for grabs, with all predicted to sell out as they did last year. Attendance is limited to 5,000 tickets to preserve the magical, intimate experience the festival was built on.
Tickets are available for purchase online: Don’t wait to buy, as they’re predicted to sell out quickly for this milestone year. Learn more about Blue Ox online.
