Eau Claire’s favorite mobile food party returns on May 3rd! Food Truck Friday is the first glimmer that summer is on the horizon and happier days are soon to follow. Before the season starts, I’m going to provide you all with tips to elevate your Food Truck Friday experience.

1. If you can swing it, avoid popular meal times.

Food service is from 11- 7pm with the noon hour and 4:30-6pm being the busiest.

2. Keep your options open!

Every truck on our schedule SLAPS and has fantastic food! If you don’t have dietary restrictions, pick a truck with a shorter line so you don’t have to wait as long!

3. If you must wait in line for your favorite truck, bring sun protection!

If you start getting sunburned and dehydrated, that’s definitely going to bring down your mood, and no one wants that!

4. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and get comfortable while you eat!

Phoenix Park has many benches and places to sit, but they will get scooped up quickly, so come prepared.

5. Help us reduce waste and bring your own utensils and straws!

Also, please be sure to clean up after yourself and dispose of your trash.

6. The real move is to get lunch AND dinner.

There are only 5 event dates – all co-presented by Royal Credit Union – so get out there and make the most of them!
