Clementine. 32 x 64”. Acrylic Paint. May 2024 • Inspired by the artist’s soccer coach, who provided clementines before each game, this piece reflects the camaraderie and simple joys experienced in those moments. The lush greenery, delicate white flowers, and the rich, warm hues of the clementines create a sense of abundance and togetherness. Each element of the painting evokes the ritual of sharing fruit, symbolizing the bonds and connections formed through these shared experiences. This artwork not only celebrates the beauty of nature – but also the significance of small, yet meaningful, acts of sharing and companionship.
