“Groovy Beach Bus” (2022) 11” x 14” Acrylic by Cari Raynae Jacobson • From the artist: “The Groovy Beach Bus certainly fits this category. She usually likes to include textures in her paintings with applied papers, fabric, or texture paste under the paint. This painting “missed the bus” in that category! But stop in at the Pablo Center, or at the Heyde Center to see more of her variety of  artwork. She also has a gallery listing at valleyartassociation.org/CariRaynae.”

Volume One finds its cover art in a number of ways, from local art shows to random emails to knowing someone who knows someone who knows a great artist. The art always originates from a current or former Chippewa Valley resident. If you'd like to submit cover art, send us a message.
