ATTENTION! CALLING ALL ARTISTS! Open to artists across the state, ArtsWest 46 is officially accepting submissions for its 2025 show.

An annual visual arts favorite, the juried Wisconsin ArtsWest show, is slated to return for its 46th year next March. Submissions are now open until Jan. 21 for all working artists and students ages 18 and older who live in Wisconsin.

All submitted works must have been completed since Jan. 1, 2023, with all types of media accepted. Up to two pieces may be submitted per artist, and there is a chance to win monetary prizes, thanks to funding from the Friends of the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library. No entry fees are required.

The exhibit will be open to the public from March 17 to May 27 at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire. Artists’ prizes will be awarded for Best of Show ($300), First Prize ($200), Second Prize ($150), and Third Prize ($100).

Artists will be notified if their work has been accepted or not no later than Feb. 13 via the Submittable platform (which artists must have an account with in order to submit).

The juror for ArtsWest 46 is Milwaukee-based artist Melissa Dorn. “(Dorn is) obsessed with industrial mop heads, feminism and labor. Her sculpture, paintings, and installations utilize craft, pulling at threads of her history, midwesterness, and the ordinary,” a recent media release stated. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design where she teaches as an adjunct associate professor.
