For live music lovers in the Chippewa Valley, there is yet another fun, free community event being offered right in our backyard.

During the month of July, the Chippewa Valley Museum (1204 E Half Moon Dr, Eau Claire) is hosting “Music On The Lawn” every Sunday from 2-3pm. The museum invites locals to “bring a chair or blanket to camp out on the museum lawn and listen to music,” their event webpage reads.

This year’s lineup has so far featured folk musician Andy Hanson and country/folk artist Tim Case. The next performance on July 20 will feature pop and vocal loop artist The Nunnery, who, according to the event description, “bridges the gap between bright-eyed pop composition and hands-on atmospheric live layering of voice.”

On June 27, guitar and violin duo Lucas Fischer and Olaf Lind will round out the series. Stay tuned for these events at our local Chippewa Valley gem!
