Intentional and thoughtfully curated listening spaces continue to emerge within the Chippewa Valley with the goal to provide essential platforms for artists and physical opportunities for community connection.

With these values in mind, The Pablo Center at the Confluence (128 Graham Ave., Eau Claire) has unveiled a new, locally-rooted musical series in its Manz Green Room venue, which will soon branch out to embrace the ecosystem of musical talent from around the country.

Titled the 715 Series, this seven-show lineup was created to spotlight both emerging talents and seasoned musicians from the Chippewa Valley.

“It’s music that is going to surprise you,” Kathy Wright, the Pablo Center’s director of talent and booking, teased. “The goal is to bring in something that’s interesting — (that) may or may not be local, regional, (or) national — creating something that’s going to be different every time.”

Since the official launch of the series in mid-October, local listeners have awaited the announcement of “mystery artists” in the lineup, which extends from November through May of 2026. As the weeks went on, Courtney Hartman was unveiled as the first musician in the series, with her Nov. 22 performance also serving as a release show for her upcoming record, With You.

"It’s great to finally have this collaboration between our artist community and our Pablo Center production team. Everybody is excited to welcome things like this."

The Manz Green Room, located at the corner of Gibson and Eau Claire Streets in downtown Eau Claire, has welcomed a few musicians-in-residence over the years. The Pablo Center aims for the venue to provide intimate listening experiences for its audience, Wright said.

Hartman said she believes this intention aligns perfectly with her new project, With You. The exciting aspect of the 715 Series is not knowing what exactly will be curated for each show, but the through line of communal spaces to amplify artists’ work will be significant, she said.

“I think it's really fitting that this album is the thing that's launching the 715 Series,” Hartman said. “The record is really about community, care and those ties that connect all of us within a community.”

Chippewa Valley's own Hemma, known for their alternative-classic and Americana sound, was announced as a 715 Series artist at the end of October. Also revealed were Wisconsin's Ben Mulwana and the Mae Simpson duo from Minneapolis, Minn..

The 715 Series with the Pablo Center and Prevail Bank:

Nov. 22 - Courtney Hartman, With You release show

Dec. 18 - Hemma

Jan. 13 - Mae Simpson Duo

Feb. 19 - Ben Mulwana

March 11 - Amanda Pascali

April 9 - Annie Mack

May 7 - Lanue

Collaboration remains a core value at the Pablo Center, especially regarding new offerings in the Manz Green Room, Wright said. The space has actively undergone renovations to enhance its suitability for musical performances, she added.

The series has been brought to life with the help of area partners including event sponsor Prevail Bank, The Oxbow Hotel and The Lakely, Converge Radio, and various individuals in the local music scene who have contributed their expertise in booking and production.

“(Series’) like this have been a long time coming,” Wright said. “It’s great to finally have this collaboration between our artist community and our Pablo Center production team. Everybody is excited to welcome things like this.”

Most of all, the accessibility and outstretched support from ticket sales will become an asset to Hartman and other featured, soon-to-be revealed musicians. The series offers individual ticket sales for each of the seven performances, priced at $20 per person. A full series bundle is available at a reduced rate of $15 per show.

This intentional structure aims to make the performances accessible and encourage support for emerging local, regional, and national artists who represent the future of live music.

“To be able to listen to all sorts of folks in that space — whether that's like a special solo performance by a well-known artist or a more locally curated artist — will certainly be a gift to the community,” Hartman said.
