“Twilight Wildcats“ by Riley Hartnett

Riley Hartnett cut his teeth in EC in the 90s/bounced around/is now reconnecting with the city in his own reclusive way.

“Twilight Wildcats” (2026) • 16" x 12" • Watercolor on Arches • About the artwork, from the artist:

“I’ve always been interested in visual art/photography/graphic design but just started dabbling in painting less than a year ago. I quickly settled on watercolor as a medium, became endlessly inspired by the process and relentlessly experimental in style, embracing anything that inspired me. I enjoy everything from traditional landscapes to abstract experimentation, sometimes using watercolor in an unorthodox way or incorporating elements of collage into watercolor paintings. "Twilight Wildcats" is an example of my interest in collage and composition and an attempt at an open-ended narrative that allows the viewer to imagine their version of the story being told. I hope to exhibit and develop a website, for now my work is only visible on Instagram: @rileyhartinetti
