Meet Betty White… the garbage truck
If you follow Earthbound Environmental Solutions online, or use their waste services in Eau Claire, you just might know about their fun tradition of naming their hauling trucks. We’re giving a shout out to Betty White, a hauler with over two decades of service in the community (and with the face of its namesake pictured on the front)! After plenty of care and maintenance support through the years, she is still out there kickin’ it and collecting waste. If you see Betty out on the streets, be sure to give 'er a wave.
Hitchin' a ride to Big T’s Saloon
Look, staffers at Big T’s Saloon (2007 3rd St., Eau Claire) understand the struggle: with gas prices climbing, many locals have resorted to getting around with the infamous Bird scooters. Which, after enjoying a couple of Bloody Marys, can be hard to keep your balance on! Yet, in the words of Big T’s Saloon staff: “if you are going to ride your busted up desk chair down the hill here, you better ride it back up.” While funny, take your chair with you next time, eh?
