A smash comedy hit in London and New York, this much-revived classic concerns a cantankerous novelist haunted by the ghost of his late first wife, called up by a visiting "happy medium," the eccentric and flighty Madame Arcati. His current wife then is accidentally killed and she "passes over" joining his first wife, allowing the two "blithe spirits" to haunt him into perpetuity.
