Open Mic Night at The Plus features music, comedy, and spoken word performances. Musicians perform two songs; poets and comedians get five minutes of stage time. Other performance types can be discussed with the host.

Sign-up list goes out at 6pm. There are 8 slots for musicians and poets, and 16 slots for comedians, available first come, first served. Slots tend to fill quickly; first-time performers will be accommodated when possible.

Typical structure: music and poetry 7pm-8:20pm, short break, comedy 8:40pm-10pm.

The Plus provides three microphones, mic stands, music stands, stools, chairs, three 1/4" cables, XLR cords, and a 1/8" input for a computer or device to play backing tracks. Bring any additional equipment you may need.

The Plus operates as a listening room. Conversation is welcome at tables, but attention should remain on performers. The bar lounge and patio are available for louder conversation.
