Haitian-born stand-up comedian TJ (Tanael Joachim) performs new material about love, death, grief, and immigration. Fresh off an FX TV pilot, TJ brings his laid-back, conversational style to observations on race, society, and the contrast between life in Haiti and America. He is a paid regular at Comedy Cellar and Gotham Comedy Club in New York City, has appeared on Gotham Comedy Live (AXS TV) and Good Day New York (FOX), and has opened for Colin Quinn, Janelle James, Maria Bamford, and Sean Patton. He has performed at Netflix Is A Joke Festival, SF Sketchfest, and the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival. TJ is an Op-Ed contributor for The New York Times. His special "January 3rd" is available on Amazon, and his album "Son of Haiti" is on all audio platforms.
