Folks gathered in Carson Park on Saturday, May 11, to run for a good cause: the Girls on the Run of the Chippewa Valley’s Spring Season Celebratory 5K. Kickin' off at 10am, kids and adults alike were welcome to participate in the run, and the event also brought face painting and other vendor booths. Girls on the Run aims to empower girls in all corners of life, fostering self-confidence and community.
