Rain couldn't kick this year's Rock the Riverfront-Charity Classic out of the weekend's lineup, the annual run/walk benefit held on Saturday, June 22, in downtown Eau Claire. Royal Credit Union Foundation celebrated the Charity Classic's 30th year, awarding three local animal rescue organizations a total of $30,000. Participants were able to vote for which of the three organizations would earn the largest chunk of the $30k: Chippewa Humane Association earned 45% of the votes to receive $15,000; Eau Claire County Humane Association coming in second and receiving $10,000; and Dunn County Humane Society receiving $5,000.

Between the 10K, 2-mile, 1/2-mile youth, and 1/4-mile youth races, hundreds of people participated in the 30th annual Rock the Riverfront-Charity Classic this year. See the results and learn more online.
