Chalkfest has been an annual summertime staple for both chalk artists and spectators in the Chippewa Valley. This year marked the 17th Chalkfest, and with the big day on the UW-Eau Claire campus mall came incredible artistic skills, family-friendly fun, and some new and returning features including a vendor market, local food trucks, live music from artists such as The Nunnery and Nick Anderson & The Skinny Lovers, and more.

The Adult Jury Prize went to entry #53 by Tami Weiss, with several more awards given for audience favorites and youth entries:
