This year's Best of the Chippewa Valley Reader Poll had the most votes of all time – 165,203 of 'em to be exact – thanks to almost 17,000 individual voters, so it's fitting that this year's Best Night smashed another record: tickets to the event sold out faster than ever before. Not to toot our own horn, but this year's event – hosted at The Lismore Hotel on Saturday, Feb. 8 – was pretty freakin' great, featuring more than a dozen local food and bev vendors; live entertainment from shadow dancers, a magician, a stilt walker, and a juggler; the return of the Awkward Closet Comedy Show; the celebration of this year's Chippewa Valley Vanguard Awards honorees, and more.
