Laughter should be accessible to everyone – even for our youngest entertainers of the Chippewa Valley. At least, these are the beliefs of the "Squeaky Clean Improv" event hosts, a new offering by the Oh Claire Improv event space in downtown Eau Claire (515 Wisconsin St.).

On Sunday. March 22, locals of all ages had the chance to enjoy a completely improvised, short-form comedy show. Yes, even performers of all-ages took the stage in what will become a recurring event for Oh Claire Improv.

"Business Casual," one of the many coached teams of the improv org, coordinated much of the content which unfolded on Sunday night. The evening kicked off with an opening set by members of "Next Gen," Oh Claire Improv's youth ensemble, made up of area students in sixth through eighth grade.

Now, what does "Squeaky Clean" actually look like for these performers? Well, it looks a lot like fast-paced games, interactive activities and suggestions from the audience, silly characters and "joyful chaos that kids and grown-ups alike can enjoy together," the event organizers shared.

This series ain't over yet! Squeaky Clean Improv will continue once a month on Sundays, through May, from 6pm-7:15pm (doors open at 5:30pm). These events will be free for all to attend, with a suggested pay-what-you-can option at the door.
