Who should be nominated?

We’re seeking people of any age or background who are impacting the present and future of the Chippewa Valley, who are on the front edge of where this community is headed, and who embody the new vibe for which our region is gaining so much attention.

Nominees should have done some great work so far, and they should have the potential to continue to lead in significant ways. Their highlighted efforts could be in their day-to-day industry, or something outside of their normal career like volunteer or community work.

The nominee’s impact may be felt in just one realm or in several cross-sections of the community. The bigger the impact, the more qualified they may be for the award.

Nomination Process

1. Nominations are collected and reviewed in the Fall/Winter.
2. Volume One leads a panel of key community members from diverse backgrounds and industries who evaluate nominations and work together in selecting each year’s honorees.
3. Up to three individuals are selected for awards. They are honored in short videos on social media and in person during The Best Night event in February, and significantly featured in the pages of Volume One in both print and online.
