Decorating for the holiday season the day after Halloween? Yes, you read that right! For local author and father B.J. Hollars, a glass-half-full approach to life isn’t cutting it this Christmas. To keep sugar plum fairies twirling in his children’s heads – rather than worries of the pandemic – Hollars donned his Santa hat, untangled Christmas lights, swapped Halloween pails for stockings, took a swig of eggnog and decided to hang up holly a little early this year to make this Christmas not just a merry “little” Christmas, but a merry “big” Christmas.
