IT'S A BARBIE WORLD: Local Barbie-Themed Treats
some local businesses have gotten into the Barbie spirit, releasing themed sweet treats!
Many people have taken to social media to express their excitement for the same-day release of the movies Oppenheimer and Barbie – some even dubbing the duo "Barbenheimer" – and local businesses are getting in on the action through Barbie-themed treats! Here are a handful of in-the-spirit sweets, each available for a short time:
1. BentoBabyBakery | Bento Cakes, 6-inch Cakes
Local cottage home baker, BentoBabyBakery, also released limited-edition Barbie-themed bento cakes and a 6x6x5-inch cake with a decadent sparkly design, making it almost too pretty to eat! Order online today and visit the Facebook page.

2. Ramone's Ice Cream Parlor | Ice Cream Sandwich, Ice Cream Cones
Ramone's Ice Cream Parlor (503 Galloway St., Eau Claire) has a limited quantity of special Barbie-themed treats from a sugar cookie ice cream sandwich with strawberry ice cream and pink and white sprinkles to mini cones covered in either pink or baby blue sprinkles and your choice of one scoop of ice cream! If you're lookin' to snag an ice cream sandwich or cone, you'll have to hurry in! By about 3pm on Tuesday, July 25, Ramone's only had 10-15 Barbie-themed cones left and 5 ice cream sandwiches.
3. The Ice Cream and Bakery Shop | Cake Pop, Donut, Ice Cream Sundae
The Ice Cream and Bakery Shop (1319 Birch St., Eau Claire) is totally feelin' the Barbie spirit, delivering a nice round-up of sweets to try out: the Pretty Pink Sundae, Barbie Strawberry Pop, and Barbie Filled Donut! The shop will be selling these treats for the remainder of the week (July 24-30).
