LITTLE’S LESSONS: Dive Into Creative Lessons Every Month with Your Littles
find a months-worth of creative learning activities in each kit
Kids love to play – and get messy, whether they mean to or not. If you could combine learning with fun, adding in some purposeful creative mess, you’d have struck kids’ activity gold! Thanks to locally-founded Little’s Lessons, you can dive right into those kinds of activities with monthly “lesson” binders.
Geared toward kiddos ages 2 to 4, Little’s Lessons is a monthly box that provides daily learning activities and art projects for parents, teachers, or caregivers to do with kids. Jam-packed with unique and creative activities that allow little ones to activate their brains and bodies by using numbers, letters, colors, and art supplies such as paint, stickers, and more, Little’s Lessons has already received return customers thanks to all its fun.
Creator McKayla Preston officially brought Little’s Lessons to life after using similar creative lesson plans she produced, having 10 years of childcare experience – including her in-home childcare services – and a degree in communication sciences and disorders. “A lot of people (reached out about) what I was doing and said they loved my ideas, so I decided to share the ideas,” Preston said.
With a curated lesson kit, all you have to do is grab your materials for the day and enjoy your time with the kids participating. Preston preps each month’s lessons with inspiration from any holidays coming up or whatever sparks a theme, like February’s Valentine’s Day-themed kit.
“Several people have commented that the binders have made their days so much more fun, make the days go faster, and the kids are learning so much. It has also helped lower the amount of screen time in their houses.”

“The feedback has been awesome so far. I launched with several orders, and they returned for the second month,” Preston said of Little’s Lessons’ January launch. “Several people have commented that the binders have made their days so much more fun, make the days go faster, and the kids are learning so much. It has also helped lower the amount of screen time in their houses.”
Preston said she hopes parents and caregivers who use a Little’s Lessons binder are ultimately getting new experiences and having fun. “That’s what it’s all about,” Preston said. “I am so excited to have this impact on the community and can’t wait to watch it grow!”
Little’s Lessons is for anyone who is looking for creative activities to do with kids, whether you’re a parent, in-home caregiver, or just spending time with littles. Each binder can be tailored to any kind of environment, and though they are president in a daily lesson format, they do not need to be used in any particular order. Just have fun!
