Gather ’round the living room television – or your laptop, iPad, smart phone, or anything else with a screen – at 7:30pm Thursday, Dec. 19, for a homemade spin on the holidays thanks to Inga Witscher and PBS Wisconsin’s Around the Farm Table Homemade for the Holidays!

Inga, a local farmer and Around the Farm Table's host, will bring viewers to Lowes Creek Tree Farm (S9475 Lowes Creek Road, Eleva) for the all-new special, promising an episode absolutely bursting with holiday cheer! Sharing refreshing decorating ideas (think dried citrus and eucalyptus), a tutorial on crafting traditional straw ornaments, and a vegetarian-friendly recipe, you won’t want to miss out!

The award-winning show has featured plenty of Chippewa Valley gems since its inception about a decade ago, with Inga as host. She has been a dairy farmer for longer than that, and continues to create small batch, raw milk cheddar at St. Isidore’s Dairy near Osseo.

Premiering on Dec. 19 on PBS Wisconsin, the new holiday episode will also air at 4:30pm on Saturday, Dec. 21, and 11:30pm on Monday, Dec. 23. It will also be available to stream for free at pbswisconsin.org and on the PBS app, shortly after the Dec. 19 premiere.
