In the Valley, we sure love to get outdoors, and specifically, into the woods. For the ninth year in a row, Big Falls County Park (600 Big Falls Forest Road, Eau Claire) was voted the Most Beautiful Spot in the Valley. With waterfalls, sandy beaches, and a plethora of wooded trails, this park is great for relaxing with a friend or taking a group out to swim. Irvine Park and Zoo in Chippewa Falls rises to second place with 318 acres of gorgeous spots to take a moment to rest and enjoy the outdoors. Beaver Creek Reserve (S1 County Hwy. K, Fall Creek) has summer and winter trails that allow you to explore more than 400 acres woods, rivers, wetlands, and savannahs, making it a near all-in-one experience for outdoor lovers. —Kelly Carlson
