Coming in first place is Karl’s BBQ Express (1410 S Hastings Way, Eau Claire), whose smoked pork and brisket and bbq chicken are beloved the Chippewa Valley over. Ranking second is Big Papa BBQ Food Truck, whose pulled pork sandwiches are all the rave. In third place is Smokestream Food Truck, whose claim to fame is their smoked brisket served atop a bowl of mac & cheese. —James Johonnott
