Caring Transitions of the Chippewa Valley recently welcomed a new owner to its helm, continuing the business’s longtime relocation services efforts. Erin Swoboda will now oversee the company’s northwest Wisconsin territories including Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Menomonie, Bloomer, Cadott, Stanley, Fall Creek, and surrounding areas.

Swoboda comes from a 20-year career background in human resources, though her connection to Caring Transitions is a personal one. “She and her husband met a neighbor who had to transition out of her home unexpectedly,” a recent media release stated. “Witnessing firsthand how overwhelming the process was for her family, Erin saw the invaluable support Caring Transitions provided.”

“We believe in helping older adults transition into new spaces and taking the stress off families, just as Caring Transitions did for our neighbor,” Swoboda said. “I feel like we’re going to impact people’s lives and take stress off of them and give them that relief that they need from this overwhelming project that is such a big change in their life at that time.”
