Orlando, A Live Performance [3 Shows]
Nonic's annual outdoor production of Sarah Ruhl's adaptation of Virginia Woolf's Orlando, a theatrical journey through space, time, and gender. Orlando begins as a young man serving as courtier to Queen Elizabeth, and through many centuries of living becomes a 20th-century woman trying to sort out her existence. The production uses narrative and a chorus to enact lyrical, instant, and whimsical transformations.
