With three wedding packages to choose from, couples can decide if the sprawling property will be host of their ceremony, reception, or everything – a ceremony and reception, full usage of the groom shack and bridal suite, ability to peruse the entire property, horse-drawn carriage and tractor-pulled wagon transportation, and a 20% discount on wine orders from Dixon’s Autumn Harvest winery.
Dixon’s Autumn Harvest Winery, located just three miles from Dixon’s Apple Orchard & Wedding venue, serves as the perfect setting for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and gatherings surrounding your celebration. The winery offers you and your guests an unforgettable experience and a true taste of the Chippewa Valley.
The Vino Den is perfect for smaller gatherings of up to 35 people, and The Loft at the winery can host up to 75 guests for small-medium sized groups. Plus, owners Jim and Becky Dixon Mullane host an annual Open House event for its incoming wedding couples.
“Each year at our Open House, we invite couples for the upcoming year to visit and view all the improvements, look through each venue and the property in-person, and sample wine,” Becky said. “Every time, couples are so excited and are able to really grasp what will be waiting for them on their wedding day.”
The annual Open House is an opportunity to see each year’s revamping efforts made by Jim, Becky, and the Dixon’s team. Recent updates include a stunning landscaping project and interior redecorating; the venues continue to evolve annually, preserving the warmth and charm of the orchard and surrounding areas while offering modern flair.
The Dixon’s team incorporated natural boulders into the reception landscaping, creating a cozy fire pit ambiance and enhancing the atmosphere just outside the back entrance. Inside, additional lighting and thoughtful details continue to be added.
On the big day, couples can invite their guests to experience a true connection to the Chippewa Valley and Dixon’s by serving wine crafted right at their wedding venue, or by sharing Dixon’s signature Champagne apple. Found only at Dixon’s, the Champagne apple is always a conversation piece. Its distinctive flavor shines not only in the fruit itself, but also in the signature wines served throughout the celebration.
“That connection is so nice,” Becky said. “For each couple’s wedding, we provide the service of bringing wine right to their venue, adding to the private experience of it all. It’s so important to us to offer that intimate setting.”
For couples beginning their planning journey, Jim and Becky not only welcome but also encourage taking a tour of the property. “We love to take couples on tours! Even with fantastic photos, there is just no picture or anything I can say that beats what you’ll see yourself on the property,” Becky said.
“With the vastness of the property, you have to come out and see all that’s included. It’s a true experience.”
