Buffalo County Humane Association has been caring for companion animals in need for more than 25 years. They are 100% volunteer-operated, providing shelter, care, and love to hundreds of abandoned and neglected animals each year. Volunteers are always needed to help in many areas - animal care, events, facility maintenance, admin, and more.

They are dedicated to promoting the well-being and protection of domestic pets and small agricultural animals by educating the public on humane treatment and responsible pet ownership. They adopt animals out of their primary shelter, as well as Mr. Kitty's Cat Cafe, where you can meet and interact with feline friends in a laid-back setting.
