Best Local Meteorologist
You may recall watching Darren Maier describe the area of hail affecting the Eau Claire area during the storm last May 15th that led to many months of roof and siding repair. Times like that surely contributed to WEAU’s Chief Meteorologist returning to the top spot as Best Local Meteorologist. Also contributing much to local weather knowledge: WQOW’s Matt Schaefer, who places second. A first-time appearance comes from WEAU’s weekday morning weatherperson, Derrek Dalman, with his debut in third. —Luc Anthony
