Best TV News Anchor
An era of local news ended on Dec. 5, with the retirement of local journalism icon Judy Clark. She goes out on top, taking first in the Best TV News Anchor category for the 11th time — the most of any area anchor. Heidi Paxson is one of the newer additions to a local anchor chair; the WEAU evening broadcaster makes her first appearance here in second place. WQOW’s Katie Phernetton makes a likely final placement here, following her early-January departure; she is in third place. —Luc Anthony
