We keep hearing about a new appetizer trend: cauliflower. It’s healthy, sustainable, and there are a number of preparation options that mask the inherent cauliflower taste. But let’s face it: this is Wisconsin, and the Reader Poll doesn’t care much for vegetables. Milwaukee Burger Company (2620 E. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire) offers an assortment of fried cheese options (like their huge golf-ball sized curds), and if you can find the Live Great Food during the warmer months, you must try their gluten-free Wisconsin curds.
