Best Jazz Band

Elevating the local music scene, these bands were dubbed the best of the jazz genre. The Sue Orfield Band was voted first place for Best Jazz Band. Renowned for soul-stirring performances and mastery of the genre, Orfield & Co. emerged once again as champs. Coming in second place, Cathy Reitz and 7 Swing have a mix of talent, passion, and vibrancy that make them a quick favorite. In third place, Weapons of Brass Destruction come crashing in with their multiple-member ensemble and unforgettable toe-tapping bops this year. —Hannah Angell
