A musician is nothing without a great band behind them, but a band without a stellar musician isn’t going to win any ears over. Chris Kroeze won over the hearts of the country on The Voice, and has shown that there is no love quite like hometown love. Meanwhile, second-place finisher Howard “Guitar” Luedtke beat out the blues, and Sue Orfield and her trademark saxophone brought home a tasteful third-place finish in this year’s poll. —Parker Reed
