A taproom-only microbrewery housed in a historic refurbished train depot, their taps feature an array of staple flavors and four rotating, seasonal, experimental flavors. The space has board games, classic 1970s era pinball machine, and a large outdoor patio with fire pit and yard games. Food trucks are common, and they regularly host food from Chef Stacy's pop-up Stacked Eatery. They have 8 beers on tap and 2 cask beers.

This local brewery and taproom features rotating specialty crafted beers in a funky, industrial-style space inside of the brewing space. With two floors, outdoor patio, and rooftop seating, they frequently host events like artisan markets and food trucks parked out front. Order a flight to try a few flavors or get a pint with some friends. Their beers rotate often, but you'll find plenty of beloved staples.

This brewery and distillery features a large taproom/bar and postcard-worthy views of the Chippewa River from both inside and its rooftop patio. Check out their rotating beer and high-quality spirits offerings, namely starring Trumie's flavored vodkas as well as Chippewa Gin, Old Chippewa Whiskey, and more. They frequently host DJ trivia and food trucks.

Lazy Monk Brewing, LLC

97 West Madison Street, Eau Claire

Lazy Monk is a European-style craft brewery with a focus on Boehemian, Czech, and German style biers. Their family and dog-friendly Bier Hall and Bier Garden overlook the Chippewa River, with a warm, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere. Their biers are hand-crafted using local and imported ingredients, with a modern artisan take on brewing tradition.

Leinie Lodge & Pilot Brewery

The Leinie Lodge, situated on the grounds of the historic Leinenkugel’s Brewery (which opened in 1867), hosts events, live music, and tours of the historic facility, and sports a taproom with 15+ Leinenkugel’s brews. The Lodge has a pilot brewery, which experiments with a handful of new or revived brews, and tests out and pioneers new Leinenkugel’s varieties.

Modicum Brewing

4212 Southtowne Drive, Eau Claire

Local craft brewery Modicum Brewing offers a "Tiny by design" taproom that is cozy but social. They pour from a select batch of recipes developed by brewmaster Eric Rykal, with rotating taps. A curated selection of food from The Coffee Grounds is available in the brewery. Dogs are welcome on the patio.

Zymurgy Brewing

624 Main Street. E, Menomonie

Zymurgy takes its name from the Greek word for the study and practice of fermentation. Brewmaster Jonathan Christensen’s creations – many produced with local ingredients, are served from 10+ taps behind a raw-edge bartop. Also try the in-house seltzers and NA sodas, and find rare bottle releases like their Brewery's Reserve collection and barleywine. They frequently host live music, food trucks, and more.
