Best Local Musical

After being closed down for much of 2020, theater was back in 2021. The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild’s production of Legally Blonde The Musical featured Elle Woods as she entered the world of law school to get her boyfriend back. The ECCT brought the Christmas-themed Elf the Musical to the Pablo in November. Performed at The Oxford in May, RENT drew in audience members of all ages for a tale of falling in love, finding your voice, and living for today. — Diana Peterson
