A personal plea from me (on behalf of all locals): I’ll forever campaign for more social dancing here in the Chippewa Valley! These category winners seem to agree, with Scooter’s (411 Galloway St., Eau Claire) taking the lead. She-Nannigans & Lucky’s (415 Water St., Eau Claire) remains home to one of the biggest dance floors in the area and hosts dance-specific events and weekly specials for your next night out. Voters couldn’t resist their hometown hero, The Pickle (341 Water St., Eau Claire), a rite of passage for many young adults in the Valley with enough room to shimmy and shake. —Evelyn Nelson
