I’m not much of a drinker myself these days, so I appreciate the effort by Wisconsin joints to shake up some great mocktails. (No, a mocktail isn’t just anything without liquor, thank you very much.) Helix Wine, Craft Bar & Café (1444 Front Porch Pl., Altoona) puts as much care into its craft mocktails as it does its cocktails. River Bend Winery & Distillery (10439 33rd Ave., Chippewa Falls), too, offers unique specials and yummy mocktails. The Phoenix Taproom & Kitchen (402 Graham Ave., Eau Claire), the largest self-pour taproom in the Midwest, is also pouring NA drinks and mocktails. —McKenna Scherer
