When you live in the Chippewa Valley you don’t have to go far from home to find locally-grown, fresh produce; humanely-raised meat; squeaky clean cheese and dairy products; and other necessities available at our array of farmers markets. At these very same farmers markets you’ll often find local musicians, creatives and other arts-and-community assets being supported by residents and community organizers (the second top thing the Valley is good at). And, we’ve become something of a regional hot spot for a variety of music festivals, including EDM, country, rock and indie. It seems we locals no longer have to make any pilgrimages to see great live music. Keep ‘em coming! —Amanda Polden
